We aim to build long standing relationships with Clients by providing cost effective, competitive services and by ensuring we understand our Clients needs and requirements.
Overview Of The Principal Designer Role
Feasibility (RIBA Stage 1)
We will ensure our Clients are aware of their duties under the regulations and look to develop a project specific CDM Strategy with them.
Design Phase (RIBA Stages 2-4)
We will review existing pre-construction information and assist to fill any gaps. We will ensure all designers have the information they require and work with the design team to ensure designs follow the principles of prevention and can built, used and maintained safely.
Construction Phase (RIBA Stage 5)
We will ensure all bidding contractors receive the information they need to account for health and safety when bidding for the project and again once appointed to assist them to plan the works with regards to minimising the risk to their workforce and any one who make be effected by the works. We shall continue to liaise with the Contractors design team as necessary.
Completion (RIBA Stages 6-7)
We shall ensure a comprehensive but proportionate Health and Safety File is provided to the Client upon completion of the project and advise the Client on the purpose of this file and their responsibilities with regard to the up-keeping, provision of the information therein.
